I happen to like it when we go off the subject of motorcycles. I like to hear the stories of trips, long or short, family life, etc. I don't get into chat rooms (no one is ever on the Savage chat room when I go on). I like to think of this forum as friends, even though I couldn't pick any one of you out of a lineup. And for some of you that may be to your benefit!

Today is going to be a real fun day for me. My granddaughter first birthday party will be held at my house (we have the pool and can accomodate the crowd). The guest list includes my firs ex-husband, my second ex-husband and his girlfriend (she's really nice, him on the other hand...), and my SO (who lives with me). Tomorrow we have to attend my SO's daughter graduation party at his ex-wife's (with all her relatives and friends and absolutely no one that likes me or my SO). Luckily because we have the MC experienced rider course until 5PM, we will arrive late. Course was already paid for before we were even told about the event. My SO has to take the course for his MC Safety Instructor license and I want to take it to be more prepared. It can't be any worse than driving in Daytona was! I'm using the Savage (please pray I don't dump). I have a Yamaha 250 that my daughter is practicing on but the ride is so totally different, I have drag bars now. I don't think I would get the real benefit of the course unless I take my ride with me. My SO is bringing the Suzuki GS550L instead of his Yamaha Royalstar. I can understand that. He's been riding since he was a kid and is 50 now. I'm sure he'll learn something but trying to do it with an 800lb bike that has low clearance wouldn't be so great.

I'm waiting for one more part and then all the other parts will go on the Savage. After that, I'll get the pictures out to you. The part is being held up in customs. Have to take the rear tire off to put the rack on so I'm waiting to do it all at once.
